Casey Hall-Landers

 

Specializing in dance, martial arts, and creative writing informed by intellectual, political, and social investigation, Casey aims to explore the intersectionality of humanity. Currently, a student at NYU Tisch School of The Arts majoring in Dance with a minor in Creative Writing, they are pursuing a career in dance, performance art, and production.

Sean Pfeiffer (he/him) is a New York City based performance artist originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Growing up alongside nature has inspired Sean to reflect and explore the intersections between human life and the various environments that surround us in order to play crucial roles in forming who we are. He strives to further this exploration by using the wide variety of movement styles that have sculpted his dance training from contemporary, jazz, and modern to ballet and tap. ​

Sean currently focuses on movement creation, generation, and performance and is working towards refining his teaching philosophies as a dance educator.  He is in his final year as a Dance Major at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with a minor of Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. Sean is set to graduate with a BFA of Dance in May of 2022.​

Sofia Gonzalez is a 20-year-old college senior majoring in Dance at New YorkUniversity Tisch School of the Arts. She attended New World School of the Arts HighSchool where she trained in all forms of dance but especially enjoys contemporary,ballet, modern, and composition. Ever since she was 13, she has had a passion forcreating and choreographing. Sofia was recognized as a Youngarts Finalist forchoreography in 2018 with her piece titled, “Variation of a Tango” and as a YoungArtsHonorable Mention for modern/contemporary in 2017. In addition, Sofia has had theopportunity to perform in a number of guest works, Oblivion, choreographed by JessicaLang which she performed in 2019, and Ehad Mi Yodea choreographed by Ohad Naharin(taught by members of Batsheva Dance Company; Bret Easterling, Ian Robinson, BobbiJean Smith) performed in 2018. Sofia choreographed her solo, City of Stars, where shewas awarded 1st place and performed in the Gala at New York City Dance AllianceNationals in 2017 where she was named 6th runner up. Sofia continues to choreographpieces on herself and others year after year and has also been delving into her passion ofmusic within the last two years. Sofia has been singing and recording her own music, aswell as accompanying herself on the piano. She is a storyteller through her art in everyfacet and is excited to continue challenging herself and to hopefully inspire others.

Karsen (they/she) is a multimedia artist currently exploring the intersections of dance, film, performance, and video art. Their work seeks to highlight the irregularities and raw emotions of human experiences that get swept away, censored, or misconstrued. Karsen is also passionate about inclusive education and queer accessibility in art. They will be graduating from New York University with a BFA in Dance in Spring of 2022.
